One game (I had one unit of 6) they destroyed a predator, a vindicator, an ironclad dreadnought, 2 rhinos, and a combat squad of marines; second game (I had 2 units of 6) they killed a unit of assault marines, helped a daemon prince kill 10 death company, and captured 2 late-game objectives (the Scouring mission); in the last game I dropped a bit aggressively and lost a unit to the warp, but the other has finished off a Trygon wounded by shooting and helped a daemon prince wipe a large unit of Raveners.

I'm really liking this change, and am pretty pleased with their change in Fantasy too (if anyone here actually plays fantasy...)Stupid Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00635724267013590918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515454463270943871.post-69604115295407403182012-07-29T20:09:30.408-07:002012-07-29T20:09:30.408-07:00@.Ordo bob. at first I didn't think you could...@.Ordo bob. at first I didn't think you could do this. Then I remembered this is 6th and looked up the relevant rules. Good find! I did not notice that little bit with the screamers. I will be stealing this one. Dropping some of them amongst a car-park can do many hull points!

It also seems to me that in 6th the Screamers can drop in then turbo-boost on the turn they drop, kicking their save up to 4+ and quite possibly killing off some enemy infantry: 6 of them dishes out a lot of damage with the fly-over attacks!Stupid Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00635724267013590918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515454463270943871.post-75487386515888685222012-07-29T19:04:11.188-07:002012-07-29T19:04:11.188-07:00Nice, but a few things... The mini update has them at save - with the new brb rules for daemons thats a 5++, it must be specified to get a diffrent save. But with the points drop extra woumd and extra attack it's still awsome. The new chariots all get the fleshrend rule witch is d6 hammer of wrath for every hull pint left on the vehicle. These are making their way into my army very soon. But overall a very nice synopsis...and plug for me...lolMelon Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16557578215592278274noreply@blogger.com
